About The RoleOur Authentication Centers (warehouses) are where the magic happens! The Art & Science of Real comes to life within our facilities located in New Jersey and Arizona — combining the knowledge of hundreds of luxury experts with cutting-edge, proprietary technology. As consigned goods travel into our facilities, the team processes, authenticates, and photographs each item in preparation for listing to our website. As a Watchmaker, you will leverage your expertise to assess the condition and authenticity of timepieces, and perform service to restore them to functionality. If you are an experienced watch expert with a passion for sustainable fashion, this could be the perfect match!What You Get To Do Every DayAssess the condition, authenticity, and functionality of timepiecesDiagnose and perform service on timepieces of basic to moderate complexity to restore them to accuracy and functionalityCoordinate communication between all watchmakers, clients, customers and Operations team to receive approval on needed repairs and process accordinglyProvide accurate and expedient simple adjustments and regulations to mechanical movements as well as battery replacement on quartz models and link additions/removalPartner with Expert Service leaders to assist in any requested educational or training initiativesContribute to the Expert Service team's initiatives to scale and diversify the growth of the company's watch repair and service initiativesWhat You Bring To The RoleMinimum Requirements:3-5 years of experience repairing timepiecesDegree or certification from relevant watchmaking educational institutionAdept at working with technology solutions to increase productivity and efficiencyAbility to handle multiple complex, time sensitive situationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA 'can-do' attitude with a solutions focused mindsetSelf-motivation and a drive to achieve resultsExceptional attention to detail and organization skillsAdaptability and openness to changePreferred Requirements:WOSTEP certificationAdditional certifications from major watch brandsCompensation, Benefits, + Perks$50 in monthly food credits to apply to snacks and meals that are available for purchase on siteEmployee Stock Purchase Plan401K with Company MatchMedical, Dental & Vision InsurancePaid Parental Leave9 Paid Company HolidaysFlexible Time Off (With Manager Approval)State of the art, climate-controlled warehouse facilityThe expected salary range for this role is $59,608.80-$85,170.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package.
