Look no further – we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team of caregivers who truly care!*** Required: At least 1 year caregiver experience ***Job DescriptionSenior Helpers of Costa Mesa is looking for experienced caregivers with HCA credentials, a valid drivers license and car to service clients in the following areas: Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Fountain Valley, Irvine, Santa Ana and Orange.Caregiver QualificationsExperience with transferring clients between various locations (wheelchair, bed, etc.) utilizing proper body mechanics and assistive devices.Experience with using a Hoyer lift and gate belt assistance.Experience with assisting clients with personal hygiene tasks, including sponge baths, bathing, toileting, grooming, etc.Experience with assisting clients with incontinence care and bedridden care.Willing to attend training regarding Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Training in all the mentioned categories is preferred.What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships.Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (walks, gardening, games, etc.)Prep meals for your clients to enjoy.Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living.Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.Why be a Senior Helper Caregiver?
