About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Wealth Advisor to join our team in Westport, CT. This is an opportunity for a relationship-driven advisor who wants to work with sophisticated clients, deliver comprehensive advice, and grow within an established and highly collaborative wealth management firm.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, providing comprehensive wealth management and financial planning guidance.
Develop and implement customized strategies addressing investment management, retirement planning, insurance, tax and estate planning, education funding, and other areas of personal wealth.
Partner with MJP's Investment Committee to develop and implement investment strategies aligned with each client's objectives, risk tolerance, and long-term financial plan.
Build and deepen existing client relationships through proactive communication, thoughtful advice, and regular strategic reviews.
Identify opportunities to further serve existing clients while developing new relationships within the high-net-worth market.
Leverage MJP's investment research, portfolio strategies, alternative investment solutions, financial planning resources, and technology to deliver sophisticated, client-focused solutions.
Work collaboratively with our broader team to provide a seamless, high level of service across all aspects of the client relationship.
Provide ongoing service and strategic guidance to MJP's advisory and 401(k) plan clients.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a financial advisor, wealth advisor, or in a comparable financial services role.
A Bachelor's degree; advanced degrees and professional designations such as CFP®, CPA, or MBA are a plus.
Series 65 or Series 66 registration required.
Strong knowledge of comprehensive wealth management, including investment management, financial planning, retirement planning, alternative investments, insurance, and tax and estate planning.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain meaningful, long-term client relationships.
Strong presentation, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A genuine passion for helping clients and delivering an exceptional client experience.
