Job description
Apply firsthand military weapons-systems experience to evaluate AI-generated operational scenarios and improve the accuracy, reasoning, and reliability of military-focused AI systems.
Role Overview This remote contract role focuses on military operations, weapons employment, and tactical decision-making across air defense, missile systems, naval combat systems, and tactical aviation.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate AI-generated scenarios involving air defense, missile systems, naval weapons, or tactical aviation.
Assess operational realism, weapons-employment decisions, and mission procedures.
Review scenarios for technical accuracy, sound reasoning, and alignment with Rules of Engagement and the Law of Armed Conflict.
Identify unrealistic assumptions, technical inaccuracies, and operational errors.
Provide clear written feedback and technical reports on complex military concepts and scenario issues.
Qualifications Current or former military Weapons Systems Operator with hands-on experience in air defense, missile operations, naval combat systems, or tactical aviation.
Strong knowledge of weapons employment, tactical decision-making, and military operational procedures.
Ability to communicate complex technical and military concepts clearly in writing.
Experience with Patriot, THAAD, Aegis, NASAMS, or comparable military weapons platforms is highly desirable.
Operational deployment experience, live-fire experience, or experience as a weapons instructor is a plus.
Work Terms Remote contract engagement.
Compensation $40 to $80 per hour.
