Web Application Developer, Washington, D.C. area
BS in Computer Science or scientific field (engineering, physics), or equivalent experience. Recent graduate acceptable.
The candidates for this position should be able to perform the following duties:
Add new features to existing web applications;
Troubleshoot existing applications;
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with any of:
XML and XSLT;
AJAX;
standards-based Web development;
Databases and/or SQL;
Enterprise Java, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, or Lisp;
Any Web application framework;
Accessibility (section 508 and/or WCAG);
Understanding of usability techniques and concepts;
Flexibility and ability to learn and use new technologies;
