Weekday Caregiver – Stroke Recovery Client | Monday–FridayLocation: Irving, TX 75063 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM Position: Full-Time CaregiverAlways Best Care Senior Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and friendly, talkative caregiver to assist a client who recently experienced a stroke.This client would especially benefit from a caregiver who enjoys conversation and naturally engages with others. Talking and regular verbal interaction are an important part of the client’s stroke recovery and therapy, so we are looking for someone who is personable, patient, encouraging, and comfortable keeping conversation going throughout the day.The client also has a dog in the home, so applicants must be comfortable working around pets.ResponsibilitiesAssist with activities of daily living (ADLs)Provide personal care and hygiene assistance as neededAssist with dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily needsProvide mobility and transfer assistance as appropriatePrepare meals and provide assistance during mealtimes as neededProvide companionship and frequent conversation to support the client’s recoveryEncourage safe participation in the client's established daily routineProvide light housekeeping related to the client's careMaintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environmentObserve and report changes in the client's condition or needsIdeal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is:Talkative, outgoing, and naturally conversationalPatient and encouraging with a client recovering from a strokeExperienced with personal care and ADL assistanceDependable and able to maintain a consistent Monday–Friday scheduleComfortable with dogsCompassionate, attentive, and respectful of the client's independenceScheduleMonday–Friday 8:00 AM–3:30 PMThis is a consistent weekday position that is ideal for a caregiver looking for steady daytime hours and the opportunity to build a meaningful one-on-one relationship with a client.Apply today to join Always Best Care Senior Services and help support a client through his stroke recovery journey!
