Job description
Albany Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide weekend coverage for the Acute Care Surgery and Critical Care team. This 1.0 FTE role focuses on inpatients on the surgical service and ICU, working with the residency team for weekend coverage.
The PA will perform rounds, coordinate admissions and transfers, assist in the operating room, manage discharges, and collaborate with surgeons, residents, and nurses. NYS licensure, NCCPA, BLS/ACLS, and ATLS are required or encouraged.
