Weekend Caregiver – PCA/CNA | Loganville & DecaturPosition: Caregiver – PCA/CNA Location: Loganville & Decatur, GA Schedule: Weekend Shifts Available Shift Times: Varies Pay: $14–$16/hr Start: Immediate StartJob DescriptionWe are looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide quality in-home care to clients in the Loganville and Decatur areas.We currently have weekend opportunities available with varying shift times, including daytime and evening shifts. Some Decatur opportunities may include split shifts.Caregivers will assist with personal care, hygiene, meals, mobility, household tasks, transportation to appointments, and other daily activities based on each client’s individual care plan.The ideal caregiver is dependable, attentive, patient, and comfortable providing hands-on assistance while encouraging the client’s independence and dignity.ResponsibilitiesAssist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygieneAssist with safe transfers and ambulationEnsure mobility aids are used safely and correctlyHelp prevent falls by identifying and reducing safety hazardsAssist with meal preparation and ensure meals follow the client’s dietary requirementsSupport proper nutrition and hydrationAssist with prescribed exercises and mobility activities as directed in the care planEncourage independence and help prevent loss of strength and mobilityAssist with repositioning and other measures to help maintain skin integrityUse appropriate protective equipment, including non-latex gloves and materials when requiredAssist with laundry and clothing carePerform light housekeeping related to the client’s careAccompany and assist clients with doctor appointments and other approved errands or outingsProvide companionship and emotional supportObserve and report changes in the client’s condition, mobility, skin integrity, nutrition, or overall well-beingFollow the client’s care plan and assigned dutiesComplete required documentation accuratelyMaintain communication with office staff regarding client needs or concernsProvide dependable weekend coverageRequirementsPCA or CNA experience, certification, or training as applicable to the positionCurrent CPR & First Aid certificationCurrent TB test or required TB documentationPrevious caregiving or healthcare experience preferredComfortable providing hands-on personal careCompassionate, patient, and professional attitudeReliable and dependable attendanceDependable transportationAbility to communicate effectively with clients and office staffAbility to pass a background checkBenefitsCompetitive pay: $14–$16/hrWeekend shift opportunitiesMultiple shift optionsSupportive office teamOpportunities for additional hours as client care needs growAbout UsAlways Best Care – Atlanta provides compassionate, professional in-home care that helps seniors and clients maintain their independence, safety, and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.We value caregivers who are dependable, compassionate, attentive, and committed to providing quality care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of the clients we serve.
