Now Hiring: Weekend Caregiver — Kirkland, WA
Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable Weekend Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Kirkland, WA.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in providing compassionate care while supporting a client's comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Position Details
Location: Kirkland, WA
Position: Part-Time Weekend Caregiver
Schedule: Weekends — Saturday and/or Sunday
Pay: $21.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment
What You'll Do
Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility
Assist with ambulation inside and outside the home
Prepare and serve meals while following dietary requirements
Provide medication reminders as directed
Assist with prescribed exercises and recommended activities
Provide companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities
Perform light housekeeping tasks the client is unable to complete independently
Assist with shopping or accompany the client on errands when needed
Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior
Communicate effectively with the client, family, nurses, and care team
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Respond appropriately and responsibly to emergencies or unusual situations
What We're Looking For
Previous caregiving or related experience preferred, but not required
Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association preferred/required as applicable
Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to client care
Ability to work independently and follow established care plans
Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation, including dietary considerations
Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills
Physical ability and endurance to perform required caregiving tasks
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Successful completion of a background check and reference verification
Must be available to work weekends
