Job description

Weekend Home Health AideRight at Home is seeking dependable, compassionate Weekend Home Health Aide to provide companion and personal cares to our clients in Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha, Marion and surrounding areas. Companion care includes light housekeeping, laundry assistance, transportation, medication reminders, meal preparation and participating in activities the client enjoys like puzzles or games. Clients may also need assisted walking, transfers, and exercises. Personal care includes help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. There is no level of experience or training required as we provide a training and mentoring program to help you be successful.We are looking for PM help and Weekend Am and PM hours!!!!Compensation and Benefits for a Weekend Home Health Aide:Competitive Pay- $18-$20/hour depending on the type of client and work settingTeladoc Health Program (unlimited virtual health visits)Health insurance after 60 days with a 30-hr work week minimumNext-Day Pay with TapcheckReferral ProgramLyft Transportation AssistanceRetirement/Savings ProgramPaid TrainingFlexible SchedulesRequirements of a Weekend Home Health Aide:Valid Driver's LicenseProof of Car InsurancePass Background CheckAbility to be reliable and dependableDesire to care for older adults, keeping them safe and independent in their homesResponsibilities of a Weekend Home Health Aide:Provide personal cares- showers, dressing, assisted walking, transfersAssist with feeding, medication reminders, meal planningFollow agency policies, procedures, and protocolsProvide companionship and engaging activities as appropriateProvide transportation as neededRight at Home Cedar Rapids is locally owned and operated, was established in 2014, and our mission is simple...to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
