Manufacturing Team Lead$32–$38/hr | Direct Hire | Weekend ShiftWe are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee weekend production for a busy sheet metal manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows manufacturing, can lead by example, and is comfortable making decisions on the production floor.The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience and a strong understanding of fabrication processes, employee performance, safety, and production scheduling.What You'll Be Responsible ForDirect weekend production activities and coordinate daily assignmentsLead and support employees throughout the production shiftMonitor workflow and make adjustments to keep production on scheduleProvide hands-on support when production challenges ariseEnforce company safety procedures and quality expectationsTrack team performance, attendance, productivity, and safetyCoach employees and assist with training and cross-trainingIdentify production bottlenecks and help implement solutionsEncourage teamwork and continuous improvementCoordinate with maintenance and scheduling teams to minimize downtimeCommunicate production updates and concerns to managementHelp ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on timeWhat We're Looking ForPrevious supervisor, lead, or team leadership experience in manufacturing or fabricationStrong knowledge of sheet metal production processesExperience with laser cutting, press brakes, welding, and robotic weldingUnderstanding of manufacturing quality and safety practicesStrong communication and decision-making abilitiesAbility to troubleshoot production issues and keep employees focusedComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environmentExperience with Infor ERP, AS400, Controlled Warehouse Systems, or Paycor is a plusAbility to motivate, train, and hold team members accountableWhat We Offer$32–$38 per hourDirect-hire opportunityStable, long-term employmentClimate-controlled manufacturing facilityOpportunities for advancementProfessional growth opportunitiesTeam-oriented work environment
