RN Weekend Supervisor - Laurelwood Nursing and Rehab Center
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team at Laurelwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Elkton, MD. As a Weekend RN Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients and residents. About the Role:
As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff on our Weekend, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe, efficient, and compassionate manner. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including assigning duties, providing guidance and mentorship, and ensuring that all staff are trained and competent in their roles.
Patient Care: Ensure that all patients receive high-quality, individualized care, and that their needs are assessed, addressed, and documented in accordance with our center's policies and procedures.
Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality and efficiency of patient care, staffing, and reporting.
Communication: Collaborate with other members of our team, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure that patient needs are met and that communication is effective and timely.
Requirements:
Current RN licensure in the State of Maryland
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
