Weekend RN Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend RN Supervisor to join our team at Avir at Pearland. As a Weekend RN Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility on weekends. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the staffing and scheduling of nursing teams on weekends
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Conduct regular rounds to assess patient care and identify areas for improvement
Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any issues or concerns
Maintain accurate records and reports related to patient care and unit operations
Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless patient care and flow
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to improve their skills and performance
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and implement changes as necessary
Requirements:
Weekend RN Supervisor with (minimum years of experience) years of experience in a similar role
Current RN license and CPR certification
Proven leadership and supervision skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines
Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems
