Job description
Shop Helper – Welding ShopA Tulsa-area manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Shop Helper to assist with general labor and production duties in a welding and fabrication shop. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with previous manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial shop experience who is comfortable using tools and working in a physical environment.Responsibilities:Assist welders and other shop personnel with daily productionPrepare, clean, grind, and finish metal componentsOperate basic cutting and metal-forming equipmentAssist with product assembly and hydro testingPaint or coat finished and semi-finished productsUse grinders, impact wrenches, and other common hand and power toolsMeasure materials using tape measures, levels, squares, and other measuring toolsMove materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranesAssist with basic quality inspectionsMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsRequirements:Previous manufacturing, fabrication, welding-shop, or similar industrial experience preferredComfortable using hand and power toolsAbility to read a tape measure and follow basic blueprints/work instructionsForklift and/or overhead crane experience preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Comfortable working around dust, fumes, oils, noise, and varying temperaturesDependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as neededApply online or send an updated, detailed resume to: Abundant Solutions 5151 S.
