Job description
Weld Shop SupervisorThe weld shop supervisor will report to the Welding Manager. The Weld Shop Supervisor should have the following experience:Oversee a team of 10 to 15 weldersFabrication and Sheet Metal7 to 10 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge and experience in metal fabrication, including proficient use of MIG and TIG welding and advanced fitting techniquesExperience welding aluminum and steel in accordance with AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1Strong computer skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprintsLean Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systemsISO9001 and AS9100 standardsRequirements:3-5 years of experienceStrong knowledge and experience in metal fabrication, including proficient use of MIG and TIG welding and advanced fitting techniquesExperience welding aluminum and steel in accordance with AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1Strong computer skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprintsExperience with Lean Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, and adherence to ISO9001 and AS9100 standards are beneficial.
