Welder

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Welders for a manufacturing company in Milford, IA. In this role, you’ll perform a variety of welding and finishing tasks while helping ensure products meet established quality and workmanship standards. If you have welding experience, enjoy hands-on manufacturing work, and want reliable Monday–Friday hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!

What You'll Do as a Welder:

Set up and perform welding according to prints, including spot, robotic, and MIG welding

Grind and sand finished products to meet workmanship and cosmetic quality standards

Use inspection equipment and review blueprints to verify product quality

Enter work order and labor-reporting information into the computer system

Maintain a clean and organized workstation and production floor

Follow established health and safety policies and procedures

Complete additional production duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Welder Role:

High school diploma or GED

Basic understanding of mechanical and manufacturing techniques

Basic computer skills, including typing, printing, and data entry

Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Metal fabrication and welding experience preferred
