Welder 1st ShiftLeeds, AL Hours: 4am-2:30pm M-F, Possible OT Sat Pay: $22/hrWeld test and quality assessment will be done in the interview process. Aluminum is metal to be welded.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for welding steel and aluminum components to assemble structural formsLayout, align, fit and weld fabricated steel and aluminum componentsRead and understand blueprintsStrong attention to detail regarding alignment, dimensions, and general inspectionPerform work involving close tolerances that require constant attention while making adjustments to perform properlySkills and ExperienceKnowledge and technique of MIG weldingMust have the ability to read a tape measureAbility to regularly move, twist, bend, and crouch while workingDependable with a good attendance recordMechanical aptitudeAbility to read blue prints and weld assemblies to comply with the engineering standardsExperience with a handheld plasma cutter a plusEducation: High school diploma or GED equivalent required with Vocational Training and/or Technical Education preferred
