Job description
Welder (2nd & 3rd Shift)Welder will join, fabricate, and repair metal and other materials by applying appropriate techniques using various welding devices. Responsible for assembling or repairing damaged pieces of metal using machinery that emits high heat temperatures. Sets up components for welding according to specifications.Accountabilities:Weld complex weld geometry and fillets and related Hydro componentsQualified in smaw and fcawSetting up jobs and equipment to run efficientlyCarbon arc gouge CJP'sGrind as neededQuality of workProductivityJob KnowledgeInitiativeSafetyAttendance/dependabilityCommunicationCooperationMain Responsibilities:Proficient in blue print reading except geometric tolerancingFully proficient with FCAW and SMAW.
