Job description
Welder 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:00pm Mon-Fri)This position reports to the Production Supervisor - FabricationResponsibilities:Responsible for welding various metals: stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel.Welds and fabricates custom parts using a variety of machines including but not limited to, Millermatic 250 Mig Welder, Syncrowave 350 LX Tig WelderAs workload requires, this position may involve other fabrication work in areas such but not limited to Fastener Insertion Press, Shear, Spot Weld Machine, Auto-weld machine, Milling machine, Deburring, and Sanding EquipmentExecutes to work orders and engineering drawingsReceives verbal orders to fabricate custom designed parts and productsReceives written and verbal instruction on priority of ordersReceives, checks and handles raw material from inventory as neededSets up for daily work according to production schedule and/or verbal instructionsChecks parts, products and machinery for defectsWorks at different workstations as job requiresMaintains a clean safe work areaMoves finished goods to other inventory or work areasAssists with special projects as assigned by supervisorRequirements:High School Diploma or GEDMust supply own basic hand toolsMust be able to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipmentAble to MIG and TIG weld up to ¼" steel and aluminum.Ability to Read and Interpret Quality Documents and DrawingsAble to perform basic mathematical computationsMust regularly be able to lift and move from 50 to 100 lbsMust be able to tolerate long periods of standingWork Environment – Manufacturing: Chemicals, Machinery, Dust, Paint, NoiseProtective Clothing and Equipment RequiredCompany DetailsHavis is at the forefront of revolutionizing industries by unlocking the full potential of technology to drive productivity and enhance safety through innovative mobility solutions.
