The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding metal components with precision, ensuring that the final product meets our quality and safety standards. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent welding skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Hours: M-Th, 1:30 P.M. - 11:30 P.M.ValuesInnovationCommitment & PassionIntegrityTeam & RelationshipsDuties and ResponsibilitiesPerform various welding tasks to join metal parts and components accurately.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure the proper alignment and welding of components.Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and measuring as necessary to ensure the highest quality welds.Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, making necessary adjustments and repairs as needed.Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly.Work closely with other team members, such as fabricators and supervisors, to ensure efficient production and product quality.Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.AttributesSelf-motivatedOwn operation and controlAble to read blueprintsAttention to detailQualificationsMinimum 5 years of recent MIG welding preferredExperience welding around pipeWelding experience with galvanized materialAble to lift up to 50lbsPost-secondary certificate, vocational training preferredSuccessfully pass internal AWS weld testHigh school diploma/GED preferredThe target hourly range is $22.00 - $25.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
