This is a 2nd shift on-site position, with hours from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.Role Responsibilities:Perform correct production methods with correct machinery to properly complete assigned operationCommunicate effectively with team members and Team Leader to achieve high efficiency, high quality, and to ensure all questions are answeredEnsure correct material is staged by checking material part numbers against first-piece sheetInspect work of the last operator and communicate to them whether the quality is acceptableCommunicate with the next operation on the line to ensure they are receiving quality assemblies, using positive feedback and constructive criticism to increase quality and efficiencyTimely completion of 6S/TPM'sComply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and proceduresUse all designated Personal Protective Equipment as requiredMinimum Qualifications:Follow set-up sheets, route sheets and schedulesFollow written and oral instructionExhibit mechanical aptitudeProblem solve efficiently and effectivelyRetain knowledge of the department of operationMaintain consistent high quality in work habits and make sound decisionsCommunicate effectively with all plant employeesMaintain accurate recordsAdhere to safety proceduresExhibit attention to detailPerform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast paced work environmentInteract constructively and effectively with all plant employeesWork in a team environment toward a common goalHourly Rate: $23.44Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance. This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.
