WelderPay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourSchedule: Full-Time | 2nd2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PMLocation: Jacksonville, FL 32226Pay Increase OpportunityEmployees receive a $1.00 to $1.50 per hour pay increase upon successful completion of the 90-day contract period and transition to permanent employment.Job OverviewWe are seeking dependable and motivated Welders to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will work within a metal fabrication department operating fabrication equipment, performing spot welding, reading blueprints, and handling materials throughout the production process. This is an excellent long-term opportunity with room for advancement, competitive benefits, and multiple shifts available.ResponsibilitiesOperate metal fabrication machinery safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.Perform spot welding on metal components according to quality and production standards.Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings.Use a tape measure accurately to verify dimensions and ensure quality requirements are met.Load and unload fabrication and welding equipment manually.Stage, organize, and prepare raw materials for production.Follow established production processes to meet daily output goals.Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Collaborate with team members and other departments to support production needs.Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection.Required QualificationsPrevious spot welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Experience working in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Strong tape measure and measurement skills.Experience operating fabrication machinery.Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks while maintaining quality standards.Strong commitment to workplace safety.Benefits Upon Permanent HireFREE employee benefits10 paid holidaysAnnual safety shoe stipend401(k) with company matchQuarterly profit-sharing bonusCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesPay increase after contract completionWhy Join Us?This is a long-term opportunity with a stable manufacturing company that invests in its employees.
