Modine is a global company headquartered in Racine, Wisconsin (U.S.), with operations in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.Position Description Suitable candidates must be able to:Assemble and weld commercial and industrial assemblies/fabrications related to HVAC units and supporting equipmentPerform welding operations on multiple materials, including: Carbon and structural steel using MIG (GMAW) Aluminum using a MIG spool gun Thin gauge stainless steel using TIG (GTAW) This gauge stainless steel using MIG (GMAW)Accurately read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine part orientation, weld symbols, dimensions, and assembly layoutEnsure precise fit up, layout, and weld quality to meet print requirements and company standardsWork closely with the Lead Welder or Supervisor to meet standard operating procedures, production schedules, and quality expectationsMaintain a safe and organized work area while following all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirementsInspect welds for accuracy and quality and make adjustments or repairs as requiredPerform other duties as assigned by a member of managementKey ResponsibilitiesRequired Education & Qualifications:Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistanceAbility to stand for a minimum of 2-3 hoursAbility to reach over shoulders/headAbility to bend at waist and kneesAbility to twist at shoulders/waistFamiliar with toolsEducation Requirements: High school diploma or GED requiredWhy Choose Modine?Health & Well-being:Day One Competitive health, dental & vision insurance coverageEmployee Assistance ProgramAfter 90 days of continuous employment Maternity Leave (12 weeks at 100% pay)8 weeks of short term disability leave paid at 100%4 weeks of paid parental leave paid at 100%Paternity Leave (4 weeks at 100% pay)Financial Benefits:401k Retirement plan and company paid matchLife InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributionFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Short Term Disability (company paid)Long Term DisabilityWork-Life Balance:Competitive time-off policiesTuition ReimbursementModine is an equal opportunity employer.
