Welder Advanced Level 3As a Welder Advanced Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in performing advanced welding tasks that require a high degree of skill and precision. You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components and structures, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.You will report directly to our Welding Supervisor and you'll work out of our Shreveport, LA location on an on-site work schedule.In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products by delivering expert welding craftsmanship that supports our manufacturing and production goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDay shift but must be open to work all shifts as neededPerform advanced welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick weldingRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirementsSet up and operate welding equipment, including welding machines, torches, and other hand toolsInspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specificationsMaintain welding equipment and tools, performing regular maintenance and repairs as neededFollow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environmentQualified welder with experience in 4+ welding procedures.Skilled Journeyman Welder/Pipefitter.Proficient in pipefitting, welding, and fabrication.Works independently with minimal supervision.Troubleshoots and repairs piping systems.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Self-motivated, reliable, and results-driven.Delivers high-quality workmanship and meets project deadlines.Must Have5 years in heavy industrial/manufacturing environment performing welding and pipefitting tasks or 1 year heavy manufacturing welding experience with technical welding certification.We ValueHigh School Diploma or equivalentHave a good working knowledge of correcting pipe stressBe able to create stores reservations and be able to find stores stock100% compliant with all HSE and EMOC proceduresUses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsAbout Honeywell TechnologiesHoneywell Technologies is a global, pure-play automation company with a legacy of innovating to help solve the world's most mission-critical challenges, enhancing the quality of life for people and communities around the world.
