Job Description Job Description Seeking a reliable, skilled Welder and Fabricator. We build and occasionally repair Farm Equipment, duties would include but not be limited to bringing in steel via forklift to be cut per the plans, subassemblies built, then assembling those into a final machine/product. This is not a welding only job.
Must be a team player, and take direction, be reliable and trainable to our methods.
Knowledge of:
Know how to fabricate/build something from scratch/ idea or plan.
Trustworthy
Understand mechanical things
Experience in a shop environment
Iron worker punch/shear
Band saw
MIG mild steel and possibly some stainless and aluminium
Torches
Plas
Grinders
Insurable driving record, and has reliable transportation
Team player, and good communication skills
Can drive tractor, forklift, some farm equipment
BONUS IF YOU CAN MACHINE/ run a lathe or mill
Must have own tools, welding helmet, we will supply coveralls, gloves, consumables.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8-4:30pm.
