Job description
WelderOur customer in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Welders to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing metal components while ensuring quality and accuracy according to specifications.Responsibilities of the Welder:Weld metal parts together according to layouts, diagrams, work orders, and specifications.Set up and operate MIG/TIG welding equipment and related tools.Position, align, and clamp metal components prior to welding.Clean and prepare workpieces using grinders, wire brushes, and other equipment.Repair broken or cracked parts and perform equipment weld repairs.Inspect finished welds and measure completed work for quality and specification compliance.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.Maintain a safe and organized work area.Perform other duties as assigned.Welder Requirements and Qualifications:Must be able to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.Good basic math skills required.Technical education, training, certification, and prior welding experience required.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Ability to use basic measuring instruments.Ability to read wiring schematics.General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.Sit and stand for long periods of time.Ability to bend, squat, reach pull, and climb.Pay for Welder: Starting at $23-$25/hour.
