Sound like you?Location: Belton, MissouriEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Welding of galvanized, carbon steel and aluminum materials and assembliesPlasma and stitch cuttingWeld Platforms and pennant plates as neededPrepare assemblies for shippingPerform inspections of own workMaintain Kan Ban LevelsOther duties as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma/Equivalent6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility, small part assembly preferred.Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.Reliable and dependable attendance.Mig/Tig wire feed welding skills; Experience in Aluminum welding and Robotics strongly preferredAbility to communicate verbally and in written form with supervisors and co-workersMechanical aptitude preferred.Physical requirements include frequent reaching, gripping and carrying up to 50 lbs., plus frequent standing, stooping, bending, squatting, and walking.Working environment is an unheated and non air conditioned manufacturing/warehouse setting.Safety glasses with side shields are required in the manufacturing environment.Frequent reaching, gripping and carrying up to 50 lbs., plus standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting and walking.Must handle multiple tasks and perform effectively in a fast paced, high stress work environment.Must have or be able to obtain certification by CWIAbility to pass a pulmonary function testAt Safe Fleet, you are empowered to build a career that will take you where you want to go.
