Job description
WelderWe are seeking a highly skilled Welder to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role involves supporting fabrication and manufacturing operations by performing high-quality welding on structural and custom metal fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in FCAW, the ability to read blueprints and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).ResponsibilitiesPerform welding using FCAW, GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, SAW, and oxy-acetylene processes as required.Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld specifications.Read and follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).Prepare materials through cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting.Perform welds in multiple positions while maintaining quality and productivity standards.Maintain welding equipment and ensure equipment remains in good working order.Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, quality personnel, and inspectors.Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.Support fabrication and production operations as needed.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of welding experience.Expertise in FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding), GMAW (MIG Welding), GTAW (TIG Welding), and SMAW (Stick Welding).Ability to pass 3G FCAW weld tests and follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).Heavy fabrication and structural welding experience.Ability to work safely in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in SAW (Submerged Arc Welding), oxy-acetylene welding, and carbon arc gouging.ASME Section IX qualifications.Knowledge of weld inspection.Skills in metal fitting and fabrication.Experience with grinding and material preparation.Overhead crane and forklift experience.Industrial manufacturing experience.Quality control documentation skills.Leadership or mentoring experience.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic environment that values precision and quality, offering opportunities for professional growth and development. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
