We combine our strategic manufacturing capabilities with the power of our winning team culture to deliver unrivaled customer service, award-winning innovation and premium products to all of our customers.This position is responsible for placing fitted fabricated steel structures in the required fixtures and operating robots per blueprints with limited supervision. This position applies trade skills to a wide variety of welding jobs on ferrous and nonferrous metals. This position will report directly to the Operations Supervisor.Duties and Responsibilities:Weld steel parts in a jig fixtureRead blueprints and communicate with co-workersSet up, run, and operate machineryCount and maintain accurate tracking systemReport any equipment issues to department leadPerform required quality checksFollow all process and Work Instructions at all timesComplete all welding tasks on timeAbility to use and read tape measureAll other duties as assignedTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Qualifications:Work Experience: 6 months of prior MIG welding experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentEducation: High School DiplomaComputer Skills: Basic computer skills necessaryOrganization Skills: Maintain clean and organized work spaceCross-functional skills: Ability to work and handle multiple job assignmentsCommunication Skills: Ability to communicate within a team settingPhysical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to lift, bend, and twist throughout the workday; will be required to lift between 50 to 75 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 90lbs occasionally; familiar with welding symbolsPhysical Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing environmentPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time hourly position. Days are set to the schedule of which you elect with your hiring leader.
