MiG Welder OpportunityJoin a fast-paced component and fabricator shop in Chesapeake, OH, where precision and craftsmanship matter! The company is seeking a MIG welder to work on a variety of projects, fabricating and welding components to exact specifications. The company is willing to train the right candidate, so a basic understanding of welding and a solid foundation are all that's required. This is a temp-to-hire position with overtime available after 30 days.Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour, with higher pay possible based on experience.Responsibilities:Perform MIG welding on steel and metal components for various projectsRead and follow blueprints and project specificationsInspect welds to ensure quality and consistencyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaLearn and apply new welding techniques as neededCollaborate with team members to complete projects on timeRequirements:Basic understanding and foundation in weldingWillingness to learn and be trainedAbility to read basic blueprints preferredMust provide your own steel-toed boots and welding hood/helmetOther PPE and welding equipment providedDetail-oriented with a strong focus on safetyOnce hired full-time, the company offers the following benefits:Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (available during open enrollment)401(k) Plan (eligible after one year of employment, with enrollment being each January)Paid VacationHoliday PayOvertime OpportunitiesCompany-Provided UniformsIf you are eager to grow your welding skills and enjoy hands-on project work in a machine shop environment, the company in Chesapeake, OH 45619 wants to hear from you!
