Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.As a Welder, you'll work with metal fabrication equipment such as Gas Tungsten Arc (GTAW) and resistance welding to repair a variety of parts.What You'll Do:Produce a variety of parts from shop drawings to conform to specificationsRead and interpret blueprints or welding process specificationsOperate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, and other metal straightening and bending machinesParticipate in continuous improvement of processesCross train in other complementary skills to support production requirementsObserve all applicable safety requirementsBasic Qualifications:2+ years TIG welding experience2+ years experience reading and interpreting blueprints and welding process specificationsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work dayDesired Skills:Previous welding experience in aerospace or aviation environmentExperience with welding thin gauge material and exotic metals (Inconel and Hastelloy)Thorough understanding of tool design and fabrication methods and processesTrade certification preferredBenefits That Make Life Better:Comprehensive Healthcare401(k) with 100% company match; up to 5% vestedPaid Time Off starting on day oneBonus opportunitiesHealth- & Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsShort- & Long-Term DisabilityLife & AD&D InsuranceLearning & Training opportunities
