Job description
Welder (Class B) – TIG Welding | Stainless Steel FabricationLikwifier is hiring a Welder (Class B) to join our growing production team. With over 100 years of combined experience in the food processing equipment industry, we design and build high-quality, custom solutions for our customers.If you have experience in TIG welding stainless steel and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steelRead and execute work instructions from blueprints and shop ordersComplete basic grinding, deburring, and polishingInspect materials and finished parts for quality standardsOperate equipment such as forklifts and shop toolsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workspaceFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsQualifications3+ years TIG welding experience (stainless steel preferred)Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers)Experience with fabrication and finishing stainless steelStrong attention to detail and qualityForklift experience preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Skills:Electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, or plumbing experienceExperience with overhead cranes and shop equipmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsStand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periodsPerform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environmentWhat We're Looking ForReliable and dependable team memberStrong problem-solving skillsCommitment to quality and continuous improvementProfessional communication with coworkers and leadershipWhy Join Likwifier?Work with an established leader in food processing equipment manufacturingBe part of a team-focused production environmentOpportunity to grow your fabrication and welding skillsetApply TodayStart your career with a company that values quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and innovation.
