WelderWe are seeking a skilled welder experienced in MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and stainless steel within a construction environment. The role involves interpreting blueprints and weld symbols to execute precise welding tasks on a construction job site.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and stainless steel in a construction setting.Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accurate welding.Operate a MIG welding gun proficiently to weld sheet metal.Work efficiently with 18 gauge stainless steel.Essential Skills5+ years of MIG welding experience.Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.Additional Skills & QualificationsOSHA 10 certification is a plus.6g welding certification is a plus.Join a reputable mechanical contractor with a history dating back to the 1980s. Employees must have their own hand and power tools, as well as personal protective equipment including a welding hood. The work involves ground-up construction on a new hotel, requiring comfort with working in hot conditions. This project is expected to continue for another month.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cocoa Beach, FL.The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
