Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription: We are currently looking for a qualified Welder to join our team who possesses the knowledge and skills
to perform the welding of parts and machines to exact customer tolerances and operating
requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification.
Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
MIG and TIG weld all types of steel and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints.
Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
Follow, create and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications.
Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor.
Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
Follow all company rules and policies.
Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Prepare product for shipment.
Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually (up to 70 pounds), or using a hoist.
Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of two years of MIG welding experience.
Must have adequate tools to complete assigned duties.
Successful completion of an internal welding test.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. continuously.
Must possess good work ethic and have strong attention to detail.
Must be able to follow instruction.
Pay/Benefits:
Pay: $21.00 to $27.00 paid per hour. The range provided is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Other factors that are involved in offer decisions include, and are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, geography, and internal equity.
