Welder PositionThe Welder is a safety sensitive position responsible for performing high quality welding duties for oilfield related construction and maintenance projects under the direction of the Welder Foreman. The position also requires a commitment to understanding and exhibiting Titan's Mission and Core Values, following safety rules, federal and state laws and regulations as well as representing the company in a professional, courteous manner at all times.Role and ResponsibilitiesBasic welding and fabrication dutiesAssist with checking accuracy and quality of all phases of fabrication.Operate basic shop equipment, including shear, press, iron worker, grinders, etc.Read and follow drawing and blueprintsReport inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipmentMaintain records and paperworkWork cooperatively with other employeesFollow directions of the SupervisorKeep work area clean and organizedWork and commit to a company-wide culture that ensures that Safety is everybody's businessAll other duties as assignedQualifications and Education RequirementsApplicant must be 18 years old.Welding skills with both stick and wire welders required.Must pass weld test.Must be able to read blueprints.Experience with machining a plus.Successful completion and passing of company drug screen, background check and fit testPersonal SkillsStrong commitment to health and safetyGood written and verbal communication skills, be able to work in a deadline-oriented environment, and be able to work effectively alone and as part of a teamCustomer-focused positive attitudeWe Offer a Competitive Benefits Package for Full-Time Employees Including:100% Employer paid medical insurance - including spouses and dependents100% Employer paid dental insurance - including spouses and dependents100% Employer paid vision insurance - including spouses and dependents100% Employer paid group life insurance100% Employer paid long term disability insuranceHealth Savings AccountsSupplemental short term disability insuranceVoluntary Life and AD&D Insurance401(k) retirement plan - 4% Employer match after 1,000 hours workedPaid time offBonuses
