Job description
WelderDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Welders for a manufacturing company in Big Lake, MN. In this role, you'll fabricate and weld tanks and related components while working from engineering drawings and specifications. If you enjoy hands-on fabrication work, welding large components, and being part of a quality-focused team, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!Weld carbon steel and other materials using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processesFabricate and assemble tanks, vessels, and components according to blueprints and work instructionsOperate welding equipment, grinders, torches, and fabrication tools safelyInspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and specification compliancePerform layout, cutting, fitting, and tacking of materialsFollow safety procedures, company policies, and quality standardsMaintain a clean, organized work area and collaborate with team members to meet production goalsPrevious welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds regularlyComfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumesAbility to work at heights of 10-15 feet when requiredDependable attendance and ability to work scheduled shiftsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
