Great Benefits!2nd Shift – Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM–2:00 AM 1st Shift – Monday - Friday | 5:00 AM–3:30 PM Up to $24.35/hrIf you've spent your career welding heavy structural steel, we want to talk to you.We're hiring experienced Structural Welders & Fitters who know how to work with wide flange beams, columns, and heavy plate and can produce quality MIG welds in a production fabrication environment.WHAT YOU'LL BE WELDINGWide flange beamsColumnsHeavy plateStructural steel assembliesFillet & multi-pass fillet weldsPJP & CJP weldsGMAW (MIG)WHAT YOU'LL DOWeld and fit heavy structural steel componentsRead structural blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbolsSet up and operate MIG welding equipmentLoad welding wire and perform equipment setupOperate overhead cranes to move steel and assembliesSafely rig beams, plates, and fabricated componentsClean welds using needle guns and finishing toolsInspect completed welds for quality and structural requirementsMaintain a safe, clean, productive work areaWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR2+ years of structural steel welding/fitting experience preferredProven experience with wide flange beams and heavy plateStrong GMAW (MIG) welding experienceExperience with fillet, multi-pass, PJP, and CJP weldsAbility to read blueprints and weld symbolsOverhead crane experience is a plusWelding certifications are a plusHigh school diploma/GED preferredIMPORTANTCandidates must successfully pass a structural welding test before employment.If you can weld heavy steel and you're tired of hearing "we need someone with experience," this is your opportunity to put those skills to work.Apply today or contact Angela at Nesco Resource for more information!
