Welder FabricatorLocation: Dayton, OH Pay Rate: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour Schedule: Mon-Fri 6 am- 4:30 pmGear up and get fired up for this welder gig. Looking for welder fabricator jobs in Dayton where your welding skills help build quality products? This opportunity lets you apply your craftsmanship to fabricate, join, and repair metal components while supporting safe, efficient manufacturing operations. We are seeking a skilled fabricator/welder to join our team in a fast-paced machine shop environment. This position is responsible for reading blueprints, fabricating metal components, welding assemblies, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards.Job DutiesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components and structures.Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required.Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drill presses, ironworkers, and other shop machinery.Measure, cut, and prepare materials to specifications.Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred. Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial.Experience RequirementsExperience performing MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metals. Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings. Knowledge of welding equipment setup, welding techniques, and safe operating procedures. Ability to accurately measure, fit, and prepare materials prior to welding. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety. Experience with measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in manufacturing, fabrication, structural welding, or production environments is preferred. Experience using grinders, saws, cutting equipment, and metal fabrication tools is beneficial. Knowledge of weld inspection, blueprint interpretation, and quality control procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate craftsmanship, dependability, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a welder fabricator.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift. Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment. Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.BenefitsCompetitive weekly pay.
