Job description
WelderThe Welder at Screen Machine Industries LLC is responsible for accurately and efficiently performing welding operations to fabricate metal components according to specifications. The position requires proficiency in various welding techniques, adherence to safety protocols, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship. The Welder will collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure that all work meets production standards and deadlines.Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform welding operations using MIG, or other welding methods as required.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to carry out welding tasks accurately.Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning and positioning materials appropriately.Inspect welded components for quality, strength, and conformity to specifications.Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.Collaborate with production team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues as needed.
