Welder / FabricatorsTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welder / Fabricators for projects located in or around Oxnard, CA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-$40/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Fabricate and assemble mission-critical equipment for naval and defense applicationsPerform MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminumAlign and fit components using jigs, fixtures, clamps, and fabrication toolsRead and interpret engineering blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawingsBuild structures to precise defense manufacturing specificationsMonitor weld quality and ensure compliance with strict quality standardsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentAssist team members across production areas as neededOperate shop equipment including forklifts and scissor lifts when requiredRequirements:Must have at least 3 years of fabrication and welding experience (1–2 years of intensive, high-quality experience may be considered if technical testing is passed)Must be proficient in MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) weldingMust be able to weld in horizontal and vertical positions on a variety of materialsMust be able to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbolsMust pass a 1G Flat and 3G Vertical-Up weld test for both GMAW and GTAWMust be a U.S. Person for ITAR complianceMust possess a valid California driver's license, clean driving record, and personal auto insuranceMust have reliable transportation and be willing to work overtime and weekends as requiredMust be able to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in confined or restricted welding positionsPreferred Requirements:AWS D1.1 Steel CertificationAWS D1.2 Aluminum CertificationExperience operating forklifts and scissor liftsPrevious defense, aerospace, or high-specification manufacturing experienceTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.Our comprehensive benefits include:Tradesmen+ Rewards Program – earn points for hours workedVacation PayHealth insurance401(k) retirement savings planTradesmen International is an EO employer - M/F/Veteran/DisabilityBe Safe from fraud!
