Welder/Fabricator – Truck EquipmentOur customer in Dixon, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Welder/Fabricator – Truck Equipment to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Welder/Fabricator – Truck Equipment, you will be responsible for MIG welding and fabrication of dump body components and truck equipment.Responsibilities of the Welder/Fabricator – Truck Equipment:Perform MIG welding (hard wire and flux core) on carbon and stainless steelFabricate dump body components and truck equipment using blueprints and drawingsLayout, fit, and assemble welded parts and structuresRead and follow fabrication and welding printsOperate fabrication tools such as plasma cutters, torches, and grindersInspect your work to ensure quality and accuracyComplete finishing work as neededMaintain a clean and safe work areaWelder/Fabricator – Truck Equipment Requirements and Qualifications:2+ years of MIG welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing settingExperience welding carbon steel using hard wire and/or flux coreAbility to read and understand blueprintsExperience with layout, fitting, and basic fabrication tasksFamiliarity with common shop tools and equipmentAbility to pass an in-house weld testAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a shop environmentStrong attention to detailHigh school diploma or GEDPay for Welder/Fabricator – Truck Equipment:Starting at $22.00–$26.75/hour.Welder/Fabricator – Truck Equipment Benefits:Health insurance.Paid time off.401k with company match.Paid weekly.Direct deposit.Paid training.Type: 1st Shift, Full-timeSchedule: Monday – Thursday from 5:30am – 4:00pm or Tuesday – Friday from 5:30am – 4:00pm.
