Welder/Fitter – 2nd ShiftRoanoke, VirginiaTemp/Temp to HireManufacturingRoanoakeJob DescriptionWelder/Fitter – 2nd Shift – $26/hour – Roanoke, VAShift: Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm-3:00am (Must be available for weekends and overtime as required) Type: Contract to Perm Pay: $23/hour + $3 shift differential = $26/hour Location: Roanoke, VA 24019 Industry: Skilled Trades / ManufacturingLingo Staffing is hiring an experienced Welder/Fitter for a leading manufacturing partner in Roanoke, VA!This is an excellent opportunity for skilled trades professionals with Fluxcore welding and fabrication experience who are looking for steady hours, competitive pay, and long-term career growth in a fast-paced production environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform Fluxcore welding (1/16?) on sheet metal and structural componentsFit and assemble metal components using blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsInterpret and apply AWS weld symbols accuratelyOperate welding equipment, grinders, and hand tools safely and efficientlyInspect welds to ensure quality, structural integrity, and production standardsMaintain productivity and safety standards in a high-volume manufacturing environmentRequirements:Proven experience as a Structural Steel Welder, Fluxcore Welder, and/or FitterStrong proficiency with Fluxcore welding (1/16?)Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbolsAbility to lift 50-100 lbs repeatedlyBasic math skills and computer proficiencyExperience using hand tools in a manufacturing or production settingAbility to stand and walk for the duration of the shiftComfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environmentMust be able to pass a written welding test and hands-on weld test at the client siteScreening:Candidates may be asked to complete client-specific screenings, such as background checks or drug testing.Why Work With Us?Competitive and weekly payOpportunity to grow with a long-term, contract-to-perm employerSupportive recruiting teamRecruiter Contact: Ben Ashton | Lingo Staffing – Roanoke OfficeJob Id: 29119
