Welder/Fitter/FabricatorTOPS Staffing is hiring a Welder/Fitter/Fabricator for a manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone with welding and steel fabrication experience who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in producing quality work.What You'll Do:Layout, fit, and fabricate steel structures using blueprints and drawingsWork as part of fabrication crewPerform approximately 95% MIG welding and 5% Stick weldingWelder steel joints and seams using.035 wire and Lincoln welding equipmentWork with 10-gauge plate, ¼" tube steel, steel angle, and limited stainless and galvanized metalsUse plasma cutters and oxy-fuel torches for cutting and preparationMeasure and lay out materials accurately using a tape measureInspect your work to ensure quality and proper fitFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work areaWhat We're Looking For:1–3 years of welding/fabrication experienceSolid MIG welding experience; Stick welding experienceAbility to read and follow blueprintsExperience fitting and laying out steelComfortable using plasma cutters and cutting torchesAbility to accurately read a tape measureAbility to lift approximately 75 lbs.Reliable attendance and a strong work ethicPositive, team-oriented can-do attitudeBenefits After Direct Hire:Once hired directly by the company following the contract period, employees become eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including:Company-paid medical insuranceDental and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)401(k)Prescription safety glasses allowance$200 annual boot allowanceAdditional company benefitsWhy This Opportunity?If you're a welder/fitter who wants a consistent daylight schedule, optional overtime, and the opportunity to become a direct employee with strong benefits, this could be a great fit.
