Welding/FittersWe are seeking highly skilled and dedicated temporary welder/fitters to join our manufacturing team.Family owned and operated business, very busy, constantly changing market.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Welding/Fitters Details:Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 to $20.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)Perform various welding processes including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on different materials and components.Execute precise assembly of trailer axles for big rigs, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to engineering specifications.Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and quality standards, contributing to a safe and efficient workplace.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production deadlines and objectives.Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM (40 hours per week). Occasional Fridays and Saturdays may be required based on project demands and production needs.Welding/Fitters Qualifications:Demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.Proven experience with steel welding and fabrication.Strong capability in precision assembly of components, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics.Must own and consistently wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), specifically work boots.Commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality and safety in all work.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team-oriented manufacturing environment.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employmentA conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
