Job description
WelderThe Welder is responsible for the welding of structural assemblies consisting of component structural shapes, steel pipe, and plate steel. The Welder will utilize hand tools and welding equipment while following shop drawings and industry specifications.Responsibilities:Read blueprints and interpret industry specificationsProperly welding of components into assemblies using MIG welderConfirm correctness of assemblies using various measuring devicesEnsure proper welds to industry standardsOther duties and assignments as neededDesired Qualifications:Be a certified welder AWS D1.1Ability to read and understand detailed drawings with weld symbols.MIG weldingExperience with IronworkerExperience with Plate RollerExperience with Tube BenderOperate ForkliftOperate Overhead Crane.Disclaimer: This job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
