Structural Welder FCAW Structural Steel Were hiring experienced welders to work on large structural steel projects including tanks, bridges, and pressure vessels in a busy industrial fabrication shop.
What Youll Be Doing:
FCAW welding using 1/16 wire
Welding heavy structural steel
Working to AWS/D1 welding standards
Air arc back gouging
Reading drawings, weld symbols, and specifications
Grinding, prepping, and finishing welds
Inspecting your work and correcting weld defects as needed
What Were Looking For:
Structural or heavy fabrication welding experience
Strong FCAW/Flux Core welding skills
Air arc back gouging experience
Experience with AWS/D1 standards
Experience welding tanks, bridges, pressure vessels, or similar heavy structures is a major plus
Comfortable working in a hot, dusty, open-air fabrication shop
Reliable and willing to work overtime
Schedule: Typically 6:00 AM4:30 PM
Hours: Approximately 4856 hours per week depending on workload, with 812 hour shifts
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gibsonton, FL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
