WelderFull-time Glendale, AZ Exclusive confidential search — details shared with qualified applicants.Become a Key Player as a WelderYou will perform precision welding on aerospace components to ensure product integrity and safety. You will work onsite on a 1st shift schedule (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), collaborating with engineering and production teams and mentoring less-experienced welders to meet quality and throughput goals.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamSet up and operate manual and automatic welding systems per work instructions and welding best practicesPosition and adjust fixtures and workpieces using hand tools and measuring devicesFine-tune welding processes within procedural limits to achieve conformance standardsRead and apply product/process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirementsPerform pre-weld cleaning, handling, and inspection of parts using visual and measuring methodsMaintain organized, clean, and FOD-free work areas and equipmentObtain and maintain required welding qualifications and certifications for applicable metalsTroubleshoot and perform setup of weld equipment and work with engineering to resolve weld issuesProvide guidance, training, and skill development support to less-experienced weldersHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleManual GTAW (TIG) certification to AWS D17.1 (Groups IIb, IIIb, VII; 1G required) or equivalent (1–6G acceptable)Experience programming, setting up, and running orbital GTAW equipment (e.g., Orbitalum, AMI) for aerospace workHands-on experience welding exotic aerospace alloys such as Haynes 188, Hastelloy X, Inconel 718, and L-605Experience with purge systems, backing gas control, post-weld inspection methods, and WPS/WPQ/QTR executionHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least 8+ years of welding or related experience, or demonstrated ability to perform the responsibilities listedAbility to read and understand blueprints, product/process drawings, weld symbols, and quality proceduresManual dexterity and basic mathematics / machine shop math skillsEffective English verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsMust be able to pass required screenings: FAA drug test, eye exam, and a weld testHere's What Else Might Help You OutPrevious experience with aerospace-specific welding processes and certifications beyond minimum requirementsPay Range$22.40 - $28.00/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
