With a focus on precision, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, we serve a diverse range of industries including nuclear, aerospace, power generation, and more.SHIFT: First shift Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (may be flexible)Job DescriptionThis position will support manufacturing in a regulated environment (ASME, nuclear, aerospace), producing code-compliant welds on critical and pressure-containing components.Essential Functions and Basic DutiesPerform GMAW (MIG) welding on carbon steel, stainless, and alloysInterpret blueprints, weld symbols, WPS, PQRs, and travelers and troubleshoot welding parametersExecute multi-pass, structural, and pressure boundary weldsEnsure compliance with ASME Section IX and customer specsPerform inspections and correct defectsMaintain traceability and documentationSupport root cause analysis and corrective actionsFollow safety and PPE requirementsQuality & Compliance ExpectationsExperience with ASME Section IX welding, including pressure vesselsAbility to follow WPS/PQR requirementsUnderstanding of pressure boundary weld qualityExposure to inspection methods (VT, UT, RT, PT, MT)High first-pass yield and minimal reworkMaintain precision, traceability, and consistencyQualifications5–7+ years GMAW welding experienceASME Section IX welding experienceAbility to read blueprints and WPS/PQR documentationExperience with multi-pass and pressure weldsStrong metallurgy and distortion control knowledgeExperience with code welding and pressure weldmentsExperience in regulated environmentsFCAW / GTAW experienceExperience with thick materials or pressure vesselsExposure to audits and compliance manufacturingOther RequirementsMobility in a shop floor environment Exposure to heat, fumes, noise.
