Job description
WelderThis role focuses on MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel. You will perform high-quality welds on steel components, contributing to the fabrication and assembly of structural products in a production environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel components according to specifications and quality standards.Carry out TIG welding on steel as required to support production and fabrication needs.Read and follow work instructions, basic drawings, or weld symbols to complete assigned tasks accurately.Inspect welds for quality, strength, and compliance with company standards, making adjustments as necessary.Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area in clean, safe, and working condition.Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating welding equipment and handling materials.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality expectations.Adapt to different welding tasks and priorities throughout the shift as directed by supervision.Work EnvironmentThis is a day-shift position operating Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the workweek starting on Monday at 6:00 a.m. You will work in an industrial fabrication setting focused on structural steel, using MIG (GMAW) and TIG welding equipment. The environment involves standing, handling steel materials, and working around welding machinery and related tools. Standard industrial safety practices apply, including appropriate personal protective equipment such as welding helmets, gloves, and protective clothing.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greeley, CO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.30 - $20.30/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
