Job description

We're seeking a motivated individual who can follow processes, maintain high-quality standards, and work collaboratively with a team to drive production success.ResponsibilitiesApply methods to ensure actual welds meet both physical strength and aesthetic requirements.Conduct pre and post weld surface preparation; cleaning, brushing, grinding, etc.Ensure proper tool selection and set-up, torch tips, filler rod, amperage, voltage, slope, pulse, etc.Determine the correct equipment and technique to be utilized for each task (Gas, MIG, TIG, etc.).Determine and implement proper physical set-up/alignment; jigs, fixtures, clamps, etc.Perform regular preventative and routine maintenance on machines and tools required to accomplish daily tasks, including test equipment.Inspect and approve welds performed by yourself and others.Perform repairs of weldments.Perform required safety measures necessary to protect both the operators and others.Essential SkillsAbility to stand for the entirety of the shift.High attention to detail with a focus on quality and producing quality parts.Steel Toed or Composite Shoes.2+ years of Welding Experience, TIG.Basic CPU skills to document production progress and communicate with teammates.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to read blueprints.Quality control or quality inspection experience.Machine Operation experience.TIG welding experience.Why Work Here?Join a family-owned, globally committed company with a sustainable vision of the future, where lifelong learning is encouraged through versatile training. Experience a quality-over-quantity environment focusing on safety and collaboration, where employees submit 'improvement process' recommendations. The facility is temperature controlled, requiring steel toes, safety glasses, and gloves. Training on the 1st shift is provided for 6 weeks or longer.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Greenwood, IN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $ - $ /yr.
